Frequently asked questions.

Q: Will you list my house on the MLS or are you actually buying it?

A: We buy houses for our personal portfolio of affordable rental properties in our community. We are not real estate agents and are not interested in selling your home to anyone else. Our philosophy is simple - we help people by buying distressed, unwanted properties. We renovate the property making it turn key and move-in ready for local families in our community to rent.

Q: Do you pay fair prices for properties?

A: Yes, the price we offer is based on the as-is condition of your home and the convenience of a quick close - no repair requests, no inspections, and no waiting for financing. Many of the houses we purchase are below market value simply because they are not retail-ready or the homeowner needs to sell quickly and hassle-free.

Q: How do you determine the price to offer on my house?

A: Our process is very straightforward. We look at the current condition of the property, location of the property, cost to repair, and values of comparable houses sold in the area recently. We take many pieces of information into consideration and come up with a fair price that works for us and works for you, too.

Q: Are there any fees or commissions to work with you?

A: This is what makes us stand out from the traditional method of selling your home: there are no fees or commissions when you sell your property to us. Real estate agents will show your property to prospective buyers, and then take a percentage of the sale price. Oftentimes, the agent’s commission is 3-6% of the sale price of your house (so if you have a $100,000 house, you will pay between $3,000 – $6,000 in commissions to an agent). Agents provide a great service for those who don’t mind spending extra time preparing the property for the MLS and giving up some of the sale price to pay for commissions and requested repairs. That is where we are different: our company actually buys your house as-is without an inspection or requests for repairs.

Q: Is there any obligation when I submit my info?

A: There is absolutely zero obligation for you. Once you tell us a bit about your property, we will take a look at things and make you an offer that is fair for you and fair for us. From there, it’s 100% your decision on whether or not you would like to sell your house to us. It’s 100% your decision, and we will let you decide what is right for you.
